large portions and tasty food! we ordered one main and 3 appetizers (almost 4) and thank god we didn't cause it would've been too much. the sides were huge, almost the size of a main dish honestly the food was yummy but depending on what you get, it can be very heavy the pickles were great, would love to try the other options a different time our server was super attentive and everything came out relatively quickly it gets super dark in the restaurant at night, barely even see the food in front of you lol

We came to Jacob's Pickles for a late lunch (around 2:30). They told us it would be about a 30 minute wait as we didn't have a reservation. But luckily they ended up seating us in about 5 minutes. (However, I would recommend getting a reservation just to ensure you get seated quickly.) Our server was really nice, but a bit flaky as we had to call her over for things like silverware and the check. The food was delicious--definitely recommend getting anything with their fried chicken or biscuits (or both!). We sat outside and the weather was great so the ambiance was nice. They have a lot of outdoor seating, so if the weather is nice I'd go for it!

I dined at Jacob's Pickles and had a delectable meal. The crispy chicken was incredibly tasty and very filling. While I'm not a fan of pickles myself, my friends who joined me said their pickles were really good. One downside is that the decor isn't particularly impressive, and the restroom was a bit scary looking. Service wasn't memorable, the waiter checked in once or twice but wasn't readily available. The outside seating was a great option, allowing us to enjoy the outdoors while eating. Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, Jacob's Pickles offers delicious food that makes it worth a visit.

Step into Jacob's Pickles, the restaurant that will be on your mind for days, months, and years to come. The minute you hit the door you are welcomed with current hits pop music and a lively atmosphere. The service was amazing from the time we walked in the door to the moment we left. The food, oh the food and selections are soooo amazing! I would literally go back to NYC just to eat here again. It's southern comfort vibes and the spicy dill pickles are one of a kind! Trust me you don't want to miss this restaurant and all they have to offer!

Came here with a party of 7 on a Tuesday mid day and was seated right away. My cousin recommended we share plates since they give large portions and she was not joking. Ordered a fresh squeezed lemonade, chicken and pancakes to share and some of their mac and cheese. Let me just say that their mac and cheese is probably the best I've ever had. I find myself craving it often. It was some of the creamiest, cheesiest, and slightly crispy mac and cheese I've ever had!! I would literally go here over and over again just for that, so please never change the recipe. As for the chicken it had a nice crispy skin and good flavor, the bacon on the pancakes for me was a little overwhelming in flavor so i would probably ask for the pancakes without it next time. Overall a really good spot for some southern/comfort food. You'll definitely leave feeling full.

The food was good nothing stood out really but it was a decent bite to eat. Only regret is not trying the mac and cheese. Fried pickles in my opinion were okay at best not a fan of the dough. It was almost a dessert like coating. French fries were 10/10. Burger was heavy but good flavor. I opted for the hot pickles on the side. Although spicy they were tasty too.

great food and service everytime you go there. Love this spot. Heard great things about them

We were looking for a dog-friendly restaurant near Central Park, so came here. The outdoor patio is huge as they have tables lined up along the sidewalk past the restaurant. It's all covered with heaters for those chilly days as well, so it's perfect. Between the three of us, we ordered the Midnight Mac & Cheese ($19), Grilled Salmon Salad ($27), and Honey Chicken and Pickles ($19) with a side of Nashville Hot Sauce ($0.50) and substituted the side for Fries (+$3). The salad was a good balance for something healthy, although pretty simple. I liked the dressing, but don't think I'd order this one again. The hot honey chicken was good, but biscuit isn't really my thing and there was so much pickles. I guess this place is called pickles, afterall. The one dish I would actually reorder is the mac as it had a little bit of sausage and jalapeños inside. The cheese sauce is creamy and cheesy. Overall, I like that this spot has outdoor dining and service was great; food was just okay though, nothing too special.

Amazing southern comfort food spot in UWS. The beer selection is good and the food is delicious. I tried the jalapeño Mac n cheese and the mushroom gravy smothered biscuits and they were soooo good. Tried the biscuit pudding dessert with vanilla ice cream and it was pretty good. Service is great and I loved the ambiance with great old school R&B songs.
